The passing away of my cousin Ms.Nirmala in Bangalore yesterday taught everyone a lesson about philanthropy. She worked in Amanath Bank for 30 years as a Senior Manager. A spinster, she was more attached to her brothers and nieces. She was impartial and showed her love towards us also. A commerce graduate, she spoke English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Urdu. Unassumingly she was down to earth.
A benevolent hearted Nimmi was very religious, a good cook and a hard worker who never exposed her pain and struggle. She was always fond of power costumes, jewellery and cosmetics. She lived in her independent house in Hebbal with her younger brother's family. She loved charity and donated as much money as possible. She gifted us on every occasion. At the height of her kindness, she donated her eyes too. This profile photo was shot by me a few years ago.
Rest In Peace, Nimmi. We miss you!
