At the Naga-Valli நாகவல்லி ritual function of the wedding, when I clicked, a naga sarpam appeared in the flame with a long projecting split tongue. This homam is done in the afternoon, to propitiate nagadevas and purify the generation without any sarpa dosham. This ritual is widely followed by smartha brahmins of Andhra and Karnataka.
